Wasted $150 on a fancy LED face mask that did nothing

Bought one of those high end LED masks from a beauty expo in Austin last spring. After 8 weeks of daily use, my skin looked exactly the same and I couldve bought 6 professional facials with that money instead. Anyone else tried one of those gadgets and regretted it?

Did you see that article about how some of those masks barely have enough LEDs to actually do anything? I read that a lot of them only work if the lights are really close to your skin and you use them for like 20 minutes a day. Sounds like you just got a pricey nightlight instead of real skincare.

My wife bought one of those pricier ones last year and I timed the lights with my phone - over half of them were flickering or just dead right out of the box. Reminds me of how people buy those expensive air purifiers but never change the filter, so it's basically just a noisy box moving dust around the room. It's the same pattern with a lot of trendy health stuff, people pay for the idea of something working instead of actually checking if it does.
