Wasted $150 on a fancy LED face mask that barely did anything

Tbh I got sucked into the hype about those LED light therapy masks about 8 months ago. Saw all these influencers showing off their glowing skin and figured I'd give it a shot. Dropped $150 on one from a brand that seemed legit at the time. Used it every day for 6 weeks like the instructions said and honestly saw zero difference in my skin texture or breakouts. My friend who's an older esthetician told me later those cheap masks don't have the right wavelength or power to actually penetrate the skin. Now it's just sitting in my drawer collecting dust. Has anyone else fallen for one of these gimmick tools that cost way more than they're worth?

Bought one of those jade rollers that were all over Instagram a few years back. Paid $40 for it and used it religiously for like a month thinking it would de-puff my face and give me that model cheekbone look. All it did was roll product around my face and sometimes pull my skin weird if I wasn't careful. My actual results came from just washing my face with cold water in the morning which cost me nothing. Did you ever try to return your mask or just let it disappear into the drawer of forgotten stuff like I did?
