Warning: my neighbor's glow-up from a night habit flipped my script on dry skin.
Spotting how much better her face looked just from running a humidifier made me add it to my basic advice list.

You're right to be cautious, @knight.amy, but a good humidifier can solve a ton of common problems. My dry winter skin and cracked lips cleared up completely. It stops that annoying static shock from everything you touch. Plants perk up, and even sleep gets better when the air isn't so dry. It's not magic, but it fixes more than people give it credit for.
