Vent: Chose Biologique Recherche over SkinCeuticals for my backbar

Went with BR P50 because clients love the hype. But half my rosacea clients are calling it too harsh. Spent $400 on a liter and now it's just sitting there.

My sister had the exact same issue at her spa in Portland. She ordered a liter of P50 after a rep sold her on the hype. Three weeks in and she had four clients with reactions like yours. Her solution was even weirder - she started using it only on men with oily skin and it worked fine for them. @walker.alex that thing about mixing with witch hazel is actually smart, Kim found a way to not waste the whole bottle. The real problem is BR markets this stuff as one size fits all but anyone with sensitive skin knows better.

Funny you mention this... my friend Kim bought the big bottle of P50 for her studio and had the same problem. She had three clients in one week say their faces felt like they were burning. One lady had to cancel her next appointment because her skin was peeling for days. Kim ended up mixing it half and half with plain witch hazel just to use it up. Now she keeps the diluted mix for her own oily clients and refuses to buy the full strength again.
