That one Tuesday that made me rethink everything about lash lifts
I had a client come in Tuesday named Melissa who had the worst allergic reaction I've ever seen from a lash lift done at a chain salon two days before. Her eyes were so red and swollen I genuinely thought about sending her to urgent care, but I talked her through a cold compress routine and got her booked for a patch test next month. It totally changed how I handle new clients now and makes me want to push for more education on aftercare in our community. Has anyone else dealt with a reaction like that and found a good way to prevent it?

Patch test two days before is non-negotiable now after seeing that same mess.

Can't believe how many people skip it entirely and then act shocked when their face blows up like a balloon. Had a friend who did a full face bleach at home without testing first, ended up with chemical burns for two weeks. A simple dab behind the ear or on the inner arm saves all that regret lmao. Forehead is honestly the worst spot to test though, learned that one the hard way too.
