That client who told me my brow mapping looked like a roller coaster
This lady last week straight up said 'honey your arches are doing the hula dance' and she was right lol. I was using the same nose-to-pupil angle on everyone but turns out faces are not all the same. Now I actually look at the bone structure first instead of just eyeballing it. Has anyone else had a client just roast your technique out of nowhere?

And the FUNNY thing is those clients end up being the BEST teachers. Like I had one tell me my shading looked like I used a crayon and honestly my blending game has been on point ever since. Now I actually take a photo from the side before I even start mapping to see the real brow bone shape.

Man that's so true. It's like the universe sends you that one brutally honest person to level you up. Same thing happens with contractors I see on jobsites. You gotta thank them later but it stings in the moment. @harris.emma nailed it. That side photo trick is smart too. Taking the harsh feedback and using it to build a better process is where the real growth happens.
