Rant: Client told me my facial routine was "too much" for her skin

I had this woman come in last month, maybe 45, who swore she only used bar soap and water. I did a full consult and analysis, her skin was super dehydrated with broken capillaries. I recommended a simple three step routine with a gentle cleanser and SPF, nothing crazy. She looked at me and said "I think you're just trying to sell me stuff, I'm fine with my bar soap." I just nodded and did her facial, but inside I was screaming. Anyone else get clients who think basic skincare is a scam?

Got a neighbor who still uses a rotary phone if you can believe it. Heard him telling my wife that smartphones are "just a fad" back in 2010, @hugo_coleman28. Some folks just dig their heels in no matter what you show them.
