Pro tip: That facial steamer at the LA trade show changed my routine
I was at the IECSC in Las Vegas back in 2019 when a vendor demoed a newer ultrasonic steamer. After I saw how it didn't overheat the skin like my old one, I switched right then and has anyone else found a steamer that really cut down on redness for clients?

Actually, I have to gently call out that IECSC is in Las Vegas, not LA. I went to that same show in 2019 and remember that vendor with the ultrasonic steamer. The newer ones really do make a difference compared to the old hot plate style ones that just blasted steam at you. I picked up one from a different brand there and it's been solid for reducing redness, though your mileage may vary depending on your water hardness.

My esthetician friend swears by using distilled water in hers, says it cuts down on mineral buildup and clients don't get that weird sticky residue anymore. Isn't it funny how something as simple as water can make or break a whole machine?
