I stopped pushing extractions on every client and my results got way better

For a long time, I thought a facial wasn't complete without a full extraction session, especially for oily or congested skin. Then about six months ago, I had a client with persistent redness and irritation, and I decided to skip the extractions entirely for three appointments in a row, focusing just on calming treatments and a solid home care plan. The before and after photos from week one to week twelve showed way less inflammation and her texture actually improved more than when I was manually clearing pores. Now I'm way more picky about who and when I extract. Has anyone else found that holding back on extractions helped some clients more?

Honestly, my esthetician friend said the same thing about less being more sometimes.

So what did your friend @noah_rivera57 say people usually overdo?
