Hit 500 clients in my books and the number that shocked me was 73

I finally hit 500 total clients after 3 years in my own studio. When I looked back, 73 of them were people who came in just once for a basic facial and never booked again. That's a huge chunk of missed chances to build a real client list. It made me question my whole follow-up game and how I connect during that first visit. What's your best move to turn a first-timer into a regular?

Focus on the experience, not the sale. Ask one real question about their skin during the service and actually listen to the answer. The follow-up text is key, mention that one specific thing they talked about instead of just a generic "hope you liked it." It makes them feel remembered, not just marketed to.

That part about the follow-up text making them feel remembered, not marketed to. I used to just send the same thing to everyone. @carr.daniel is right, it's a game changer when you mention that one specific thing.
