Had a rough patch of facials last Tuesday that threw my whole week off

I had three clients in a row with the same reactive, red skin issue and my usual calming products just weren't cutting it. Finally asked a coworker in the break room and she mentioned trying a cold compress before the treatment. Has anyone else hit a string of similar skin types that made you doubt your whole approach?
