Debate: Should facials include extractions by default or only on request?

I spent $180 on a facial last week where the esthetician skipped extractions because she said they cause more harm than good long term, but I felt like I wasted my money since that's what I went for, so do you all think extractions should be standard or optional based on client preference?

You know what, this reminds me of the time I got a facial right before my sister's wedding. The esthetician spent twenty minutes massaging my shoulders and nearly ignored my face entirely. I was so mad because I wanted my pores clean for pictures. So I totally get why you felt ripped off. Extractions should be the default because that's the whole reason anyone pays for a fancy facial in my opinion. If someone doesn't want them, they can say so upfront. But skippin them without asking just wastes everyone's time and money.
