Pulled a controller board at the Marriott in Columbus last week and flipped my whole damn routine

I always yanked the main disconnect first but that burned up a relay on me once so now I disconnect the brake circuit before anything else. Anyone else had to unlearn something the hard way onsite?

Had a 480 volt contactor weld shut on me that same way.

Oh man, that's the kind of thing that makes you question your entire life choices in the moment. I'd probably just stare at it and wonder if my electrician license was actually a fake.
