Just realized the new code for the downtown Atlanta retrofit is adding 3 hours to our jobs...
We did a full cab swap on a 15-story Otis last week, and the updated ASME A17.1 section on door restrictors added a ton of extra steps. The inspector made us re-run the test three times because of a new timing spec. Has anyone else in a big city run into this with the 2022 code cycle?
