Just realized I was overcomplicating door hanger adjustments

Talked to an old timer at the supply house last Thursday. He said I was spending too much time messing with the gibs and should focus on the roller alignment first. Tried it on a stuck door at a 12-story office building and it slid perfect after 5 minutes. Now I feel dumb for all those extra hours. Anyone else learn a simple fix that made you rethink your whole approach?
