Hit 1,000 hours on a single set of brake pads this week
Been running the same set on my MRL job since March and finally pulled them off to measure. Has anyone else seen that kind of wear on 10mm friction pads?

Man oh man, that's wild. I had a set on an old box truck that just wouldn't die, ended up swapping them out purely because I felt guilty about how many miles they had on em. Made me wonder if we're all just changing pads way too early half the time.

10mm pads can definitely hold up way longer than people expect, especially if you're not constantly doing heavy braking. Had a set go almost 1,200 hours on a slow loader job once before they started feeling thin.
