Dropped $300 on a new door gauge and it's collecting dust

Bought a fancy digital door gauge from a supplier in Chicago, thought it would save me time on leveling. But my old analog one from 15 years ago is just faster for me to read on the job. Anyone else stick with older tools because muscle memory beats new features?

Used to think digital was always better until I borrowed my buddy's old analog setup. Now I get why you'd stick with what works faster even if it's not the newest thing.

Analog is just a fancy way to do the same thing slower but with more soul, which is basically my life philosophy.
