The day I fixed a TV that had a french fry stuck in the HDMI port

Customer brought in a 55 inch that wouldn't show picture, I spent 45 minutes testing boards and cables before I flipped it over and pulled a single cold curly fry out of the port, has anyone else found food in the weirdest places on a repair?

Man, that is such a frustrating feeling, spending all that time chasing a ghost when it's just a stray fry. I've pulled pennies out of disc drives before, but a curly fry in an HDMI port is a whole new level of wild. Really makes you step back and wonder what else is hiding in these things.

@harris.emma I feel your pain, I once found a half-eaten chicken nugget in a USB port and just stared at the wall for ten minutes.
