Restoring a 1980s computer made it think it was a microwave.

Yeah that "signals crossed" thing is wild. Something I never see people talk about is how these glitches accidentally preserve stuff. Like a corrupted save file or a scrambled video tape might be the only copy left of something, and the error itself becomes part of the history. It's not just broken, it's a unique artifact.

I always saw corrupted files as just garbage to be deleted. Olivia's point about them being the last record of something really flips that around. The glitch itself can be the thing that saves it.
