Rant: Almost set a customer's house on fire in Phoenix last week

I was replacing a bad capacitor in an old AC unit and the thing was packed with dust and cat hair. The spark from my screwdriver lit it up like a torch, smoke filled the whole backyard. Anyone else have a repair that went from routine to disaster in 2 seconds?

My neighbor had something similar happen last year with his furnace. The whole thing went up in flames in seconds, it was terrifying. Glad you're okay, those old units are just time bombs sometimes.
