Last Tuesday was the best repair day I've had in months

Some guy brought in six old radios from the 50s and 60s, all needing work. I fixed four of them before lunch and the other two were easy cap replacements. Made $300 that day, which never happens on a Tuesday.

Man, that sounds like such a good day. I'm honestly stoked for you. There's nothing better than when a bunch of repairs just line up and go smoothly, especially on a random Tuesday when you're not expecting much. Those old radios are a pain sometimes with the point to point wiring, but when you get them singing again it's pretty satisfying. And $300 for a normal workday? That's a win any way you slice it. Hope you got to treat yourself to a nice dinner or something after that.

Actually, Aaron, I think those old radios are point to point wired, not point to point. I used to say it wrong for years until a friend corrected me. It sounds petty to bring up, I know, but it's one of those little things that stuck with me. Anyway, you're right about the $300 being a solid day. I hope he grabbed some takeout from that little diner on Main Street, the one with the good meatloaf. That would be a nice way to cap off a Tuesday like that.
