Just finished my 50th board-level repair this year, all on old tube amps

It's wild because I started the year just hoping to fix my own broken Silvertone. Anyone else find a certain type of gear just clicks for them?

Old tube gear just makes sense to me in a way modern stuff never has. Something about tracing those warm, simple circuits.

I used to think they were just noisy antiques.
