An old eraser saved my keyboard repair project
Cleaning key contacts with an eraser brought them back to life.

Remember how we used to rub pencil erasers on Nintendo game cartridges? Same basic idea. My uncle still fixes old stereo gear with nothing but a pink eraser and some rubbing alcohol. Seems like half the stuff made before 2000 just needs its contacts scrubbed. Funny how the simplest tricks hang around the longest.
