Update: I switched from a standard fish tape to a steel push rod for a 50-foot run through an old conduit in a Philly rowhouse.

The push rod's stiffness got around two 90-degree bends the fish tape just kept buckling on, saving me at least an hour of frustration, so what's your go-to method for tricky existing conduit?

My go-to is usually just swearing a lot, lmao.

I had a 20 foot run with a tight offset last month where a fiberglass rod was the only thing that worked. I feel you on the steel push rod, and charlie269, I did plenty of swearing before I found it.
