Serious question, has anyone else switched from aluminum to copper for main service conductors lately?
I just replaced a 200 amp panel in a 1970s house that had aluminum feeders, and the difference in connection security was huge. The copper lugs felt solid, no cold flow worries, and the torque stayed put. What's your go-to for service upgrades now?

That point about the torque staying put is huge. I had a call last week for flickering lights that turned out to be a loose aluminum service lug from years ago. The whole thing just felt mushy when I went to check it.

Heard aluminum needs re-torquing after a while.
