Remember when we had to pull wire through old plaster walls with a fish tape and a prayer?

Back in the 90s, doing a rewire in a Chicago bungalow meant hours of drilling and snaking. Now I just use a Greenlee Glow Rod set for most of it, which saves so much time and frustration on lath and plaster. The old way taught patience, but the new tools let me get more done in a day. Anyone else still keep a heavy duty steel fish tape around just for the really stubborn ones?

Ever feel like you were fighting fish tape more than pulling wire before you got a set? @river_jones, I was the same way, just a guy cussing in a drop ceiling. Those rods made me look like I knew what I was doing for once.
