Noticed a huge difference in panel labeling jobs from 5 years ago

Back in 2019 I'd walk into a house and the panel was maybe 30% labeled if I was lucky. Now I'm seeing almost every new build and reno with full, clear labels on every single breaker. Is this just better code enforcement in my area or are you guys seeing the same shift?

I've been tripping over my own feet in attics for the last decade so I definitely noticed when panels started actually making sense. "30% labeled if I was lucky" pretty much sums up my entire 2018. Now I walk into a new build and every breaker says exactly what it does, and I'm just standing there like "guess I can't blame the panel for my screw ups anymore." Honestly I think I got so used to guessing that I'm probably slower now with perfectly labeled panels because I keep second guessing myself.

Respectfully, I see it differently. A perfectly labeled panel saves me time because I stop wasting minutes tracing circuits and just get right to the work. Maybe give yourself a chance to trust the labels, you might end up faster than you think.
