Nostalgia hit me when I found my old rope and block setup in the attic

Pulled down my 40-foot rope from 15 years ago, used it on a 3-story retrofit last Tuesday, and it worked way smoother than the fancy motorized rig I've been renting, so has anyone else gone back to manual pulling just for peace of mind?
