A shift I saw in the new builds over in the Westgate subdivision

Last week I was roughing in a house on Maple Drive and noticed every single room had a dedicated outlet for a smart speaker. Three years ago on the same street, we were just putting in standard duplexes. Now the plans call for a specific 20 amp circuit just for tech in the master bedroom. Has anyone else seen this become a standard spec in your area?

Yeah, it's everywhere now. Did a kitchen last month where the island had two USB-C outlets and a spot for a tablet. They're running Cat6 to every closet for access points. The low voltage guys are always on site now. Builders are just wiring for all the gadgets people buy.
