That community college course wasted $400 on outdated textbooks
I signed up for a web design certificate at Tri-County Community last semester. Walked into the bookstore and the required book was $210 for a 2019 edition on HTML5. Half the class ended up sharing PDFs because the teacher admitted the online resources were better anyway. What's the point of paying for a class if the materials are already obsolete before you start?

Yeah I heard colleges get kickbacks from textbook publishers for that stuff.
