Stumbled into a tiny museum in Philly that uses old textbooks as exhibits

I was killing time near South Street last Saturday and ducked into this random little place called the Booktrader Museum. They had a whole case of 19th century schoolbooks open to pages about phrenology and bloodletting. It hit me that those were actual teaching resources back then, not just weird history facts. Has anyone else seen old textbooks treated like artifacts instead of just thrown away?

Ha, so they finally found a use for those textbooks.

$1200 for a set of marketing textbooks I bought in 2015. They were outdated by 2017, sitting in my garage collecting dust. I used to think buying new editions was a scam but now I get it. Even the library stopped taking them.
