Printed study guides for my biology midterm a week early and then the professor changed the exam format

I was sitting in the library at Ohio State three days before the test when she emailed that it'd be all short answer instead of multiple choice, so I had to re-do every single flashcard from scratch and barely got a B, has anyone else had a professor pull a last-minute switch like that?

Wait, she changed the format three days before the test? That's insane. In my experience, professors usually give way more notice than that, especially when you've already put in all that work with flashcards.

Right there with you, that move was brutal. Had a stats professor pull the same thing once, switched from multiple choice to all short answer with only a few days' notice. Did you end up doing okay on the test despite the last minute change?
