Okay, I'm going against the grain on those expensive online coding bootcamps.
I spent $2,500 on a six-month program last year and the job help was useless, just a list of links I could find myself. What's a better, more affordable way to actually get tech skills now?

Ugh, I feel that! Honestly, just pick one free course and build a real project start to finish. That hands-on mess is what actually teaches you.

Right? Why do we always try to learn everything at once? I got way more from the one dumb website I actually finished than ten half-done tutorials. Just building the messy thing makes it stick.
