My library study group turned into a weird history lesson
We were at the downtown branch last Tuesday trying to find old maps for a project, and the librarian pulled out a box of letters from the 1920s that some guy wrote about his grocery bills. It totally sidetracked us for two hours, but we ended up using his notes on prices as a primary source. What's the most random resource you've ever found that actually helped with school work?

My cousin found a 1978 Sears catalog in her attic that gave us perfect data for a consumer habits paper.

Honestly that's so cool, my grandma's old yearbooks saved my history project once.
