She told me to cut up the Sunday funnies for vocab words, but three weeks later my kid was just reading Garfield instead of studying, so now I'm stuck with 40 damp paper scraps and a kid who knows every comic strip character, anyone else get well-meaning study hacks that completely miss the mark?
