My 5th grade class had to pick between a 3D printer project or a giant poster board
We chose the poster, and it took over my whole kitchen for a week because my kid wanted it to be a life-size dinosaur. It was a fun mess, but I'm curious if anyone else has a good online tool for making big projects feel a bit smaller?

We used a free online mind map tool (it helped a lot).

A life-size dinosaur in the kitchen is a whole mood. I can picture the chaos perfectly. Betty's mind map idea is a good one for planning. We also tried breaking a huge project into smaller digital slides, like a simple presentation, before building the physical thing. It made the whole process less like a home invasion by school supplies.
