Just saw a stat that 40% of college students never use the library's online databases

I was reading a study from last year on academic resource usage and couldn't believe that many kids are just googling stuff instead. Has anyone else noticed professors not pushing database access in their class materials?

My freshman year the librarian actually told us the databases were like Netflix for nerds.

Heard my buddy say his professor just linked random blog posts for research papers instead of telling them about the library databases. Kid spent three weeks writing a paper off some clickbait article before someone finally told him what JSTOR was.
