I paid $80 for a year of a language app and it's actually helping

I signed up for a yearly plan with a language app to learn Spanish. The lessons are short and I can do them on my bus ride to work. After three months, I can finally order food and have a basic chat with my neighbor. Has anyone else found a good app for learning a language without a huge time commitment?

Yeah, that's the way to do it. I used Duolingo for a while and the daily streak thing actually kept me going.
