Hot take: my Ryobi leaf blower beats the gas one I returned last month
A neighbor at the West End dump told me to stop chasing CFM numbers and just try the cordless model for 2 weeks, and after clearing 3 yards of cottonwood fluff in under 20 minutes I've never looked back, so who else has dumped a loud two-stroke for battery gear?

I caught a YouTube video last week where a guy tested battery blowers against a dB meter and the Ryobi was over 20 decibels quieter, which sold me on the whole idea. My ears stopped ringing after a full afternoon of clearing pine needles, and that alone made me throw the gas can in the shed for good. The battery only took one charge to do my whole yard, so I don't miss the smoke or the pull cord at all.
