My grandpa's 30 year old toolbox still has everything I need

Helped my dad clean out the garage last Saturday. His old Stanley toolbox from the 80s has the same wrench set he used to fix our kitchen sink in 1992. Did anyone else's family just keep tools forever instead of upgrading?

Right because old tools were actually built to last. My dad still uses his Black and Decker drill from 1985. Thing weighs a ton but it drills through anything. New stuff breaks after one use. They don't make them like they used to. That toolbox is probably worth more now than a brand new plastic one.

Makes you wonder what we'll be passing down to our kids with all this plastic junk now.
