My garbage disposal jammed for 3 weeks over a bottle cap

I spent forever poking under the sink with a flashlight and even took the whole drain pipe apart twice before I remembered the hex wrench hole on the bottom. One turn with a 5 dollar Allen key from Ace Hardware and it spun free instantly. The cap was from a Gatorade bottle, must have slipped in when I rinsed it out. Anyone else waste days on a disposal fix that took 30 seconds once you know the trick?
