My bathroom door hinge squeaked for months before I caved.

Ngl, a drop of oil and some waiting fixed it for good.

Months? It's just a tiny metal sound when you open a door. People live with way louder stuff every day, like a fridge hum or floorboards creaking. That squeak just becomes part of the house's background music. It seems wild to build it up into some big ordeal before trying the obvious two-second fix.

Seriously? @baker.willow some background noises are just way more annoying than others. That squeak would drive me nuts in two days.
