Gap under my front door doubled after one winter

House in Cleveland, the weatherstrip sagged so bad by March you could see daylight under it. Replaced it with a sweep kit for $18 and the draft is gone. Anyone else notice these things give out right after the coldest month?

I used to think that sagging weatherstrip was just something you lived with until it totally fell apart, but your $18 fix totally changed my mind. I had the same thing happen last March in my old place, and I kept putting it off because I figured it would be a big project. Turns out a cheap sweep kit and an afternoon is all it takes, and now I check mine every fall before the cold hits.
