Finally got that sticky bathroom faucet handle to move smoothly again
After three days of fiddling with the old Delta faucet in our guest bathroom, I just used some white vinegar and a toothpick to clean out the mineral buildup under the handle and now it turns like new... has anyone else had luck with vinegar on those hard water deposits?

Has it ever come back on you after a few weeks though? I did the same vinegar trick on our kitchen faucet and it was smooth for about a month, then the handle started sticking again even worse. Turns out I didn't get all the crud out from underneath the little screw cap. Ended up having to take the whole handle off and soak the stem in a cup of vinegar for a couple hours. That did the trick and it's been fine for two years now. Just a heads up in case yours starts acting up again down the road.

Yeah vinegar works great, I soaked my showerhead in it overnight and it fixed the same problem.
