Why does nobody talk about flat boxes for curved walls?
Read a tip from an old taper in Portland about using a flexible flat box on radius work, tried it on a stairwell last Tuesday and it saved me a full day of hand mudding. Anyone else run curved jobs with a standard box or is everyone just doing it by hand?

Ten years of radius work and I always just grabbed the trowel and mud pan without even thinking about it. Figured boxes were for flat walls only, end of story. Then a guy on my crew brought his flexible box up on a rounded stairwall and I watched him fly through it while I was still hand packing corners. Changed how I look at those tools completely. Still do tight spots by hand but for big curves a box is a no brainer now.
