Switched from paper tape to mesh for my last basement job outside Denver
After fighting with bubbles on 12 foot ceilings for two straight days I grabbed a roll of mesh tape and finished the whole room in half the time with zero blisters, anyone else made the switch and never looked back?

Man that sounds like a nightmare. Ive been there with the bubbles on high ceilings and it drives you nuts. Once I tried mesh on a similar job I never went back either.

@hart.taylor hit it exactly right, those bubbles on high ceilings are the WORST and make you want to throw the whole roll away. Mesh tape saved me on a similar job where I was about to rage quit after the third blister patch. Once you see how fast and clean it works, paper tape starts feeling like a bad joke.
