Just finished a Reno job and my mud waste hit 30 gallons
We were doing a full house in Boulder, and after three days of taping I had to dump the mud buckets. Measured it all out and it was way more than I thought. How do you guys cut down on mud waste on big jobs?

Man that's a lot of mud lol. I started using a five gallon bucket with a lid as my main hawk bucket. Just mix what you need for the next wall or two instead of a whole bucket going off. Scrape your pans back into it too. Makes a huge difference on waste over a whole house.

My last bucket of mud turned into a brick by lunch.
