I wasted $150 on a drywall lift that barely works on ceilings
Picked up a cheap lift from a local seller last month thinking it would save time on a 12-foot ceiling job, but the thing wobbled so bad it actually dropped a full sheet and cracked it. Ended up having to go buy a better rental from Home Depot anyway plus the cost of the damaged board. Anyone else tried the budget lifts and just ended up frustrated with the whole setup?

Honestly thought cheap ones were fine too until this. Learned that lesson hard.

Wait you're telling me the cheap ones literally fell apart that fast? That's insane, especially if it wasn't even like a super heavy load or anything. Definitely makes me wanna double check what I'm buying now.
