I was wrong about that cheap stilts from Amazon...
My buddy Mike kept telling me to just buy the basic $80 pair instead of dropping $300 on the ProX ones. I figured he was just being cheap... but after 3 months on a big job in Columbus, those cheap stilts are holding up fine. No cracks, no wobble, and I've put in about 200 hours on them already. He said 'they're all made in the same factory anyway' and honestly I think he was right. Has anyone else had good luck with the cheaper brands or did I just get lucky?

That's EVERYTHING now dude. My buddy proved the same thing with work gloves - the $12 pair from Tractor Supply outlasted his expensive ones by months. Sometimes the simple stuff is just built the same with a DIFFERENT sticker on it.

The $12 Tractor Supply gloves are actually made by a company called Wells Lamont, who also makes the expensive ones for some brands. Its the same factory, same stitching, just a different tag. So your buddy is probably right about the quality, but its not random luck or a secret. Its literally the same product made in the same place. You ever look up who actually manufactures the stuff you buy?
