Hit 1000 sheets hung last Tuesday without realizing it
I was finishing up a basement job in a split level over by Oak Street. When I cleaned out my truck that night I counted the stub ends from my last week of work. Came out to exactly 1000 sheets of 5/8 inch fire rated. I have been hanging for about 4 years now and that number just kind of snuck up on me. Anyone else keep track of their totals or just roll with it?

That line about 1000 sheets "snuck up" on you really hit me... it's kind of wild how we can go through that much material and not even notice until we stop to add it up. It makes you realize how much of this trade is just muscle memory and getting in a rhythm, not thinking about the numbers. Sometimes I wonder if we lose something by not marking those milestones more often, like a little reminder of why we do this job.
